The Easter bank holiday weekend is nearly upon us and it can be a great time to let out our creative sides. From egg potato stamping to an Easter egg hunt with a twist, this blog post will help you keep the kids entertained this Easter break.
Easter Egg Potato Stamping
Here at Seasonal Spuds we hate to see potatoes go to waste. If you have any potatoes that are going a bit past it, how about using them to create Easter egg potato stamps instead of throwing them away?
This fun craft activity can be done in all sorts of ways with different colours and designs, so we’ve collected our two favourite Easter potato stamp blog posts for you to browse and have a go at!
Michelle at Crafty Morning has created two different designs of the Easter egg potato stamps; stripes and zig zag. We love the purple stripy stamp. Which is your favourite?
Julie, Elizabeth and their product testers, artists, and craft makers (in other words – the kids!) at Emma Owl have created some funky designs using their Easter potato stamps.
One of our favourite bloggers, Grace from Eats Amazing has a variety of Easter themed arts and crafts to keep busy during the holidays.
These boiled egg animals are really simple to follow as Grace has uploaded an easy to follow YouTube tutorial. All you need is a hard-boiled egg and a marker pen. They’re incredibly cute and edible too – even better!
This Easter egg hunt with a twist is bound to get the kids up and moving around after indulging in Easter chocolate! Each egg on the hunt contains a mini exercise challenge for players to complete.
